About the build:
Red Mage was a labour of love created for 2018 Final Fantasy XIV Fanfest. Every piece of this costume was custom created and drafted - the jacket included 50+ panels for seam accuracy to the in game model. The hardware pieces are a mix of foam and resin cast pieces. The hat was created using traditional hat making techniques with buckram and wire.
This cosplay placed in the top 20 at 2018 Final Fantasy XIV Fanfest and won Best in Show Workmanship at Anime North 2019!
