About the build:
Very few games have hit me in the feels quite like Final Fantasy XIV’s Shadowbringers expansion. When I met Ryne I knew immediately that I had to cosplay her. She’s just such a great character and a highlight of the expansion. Plus she has a girlfriend, what’s not to love?
I made the dress out of a nice midweight cotton sateen. The front lace details were all hand embroidered using water soluble interfacing to make the cutouts. The boots are separate sock and sandal pieces made out of vinyl. The daggers are my favorite part of the costume - they attach to the dress using magnets!
